Formed partly by staff from Compile and Toaplan, Raizing created many solid shmups. However, after being completely incorporated into Eighting/8ing in 200, they have not made any new shmups, focusing more on fighting games. Sadly, many Raizing games have not seen international release.
Titles include: Sorcer Striker (Mahou Daisakusen), Kingdom Grand Prix, Battle Garegga, Armed Police: Batrider, Battle Bakraid, and Dimahoo.
The name "Raizing" is a corruption of "Raijin / 雷神", a Japanese god of thunder and storms. This is most likely why their logo is stylized with lightning bolts (besides just looking cool).
